Moremi Package – Botswana

Depart Maun and travel north to the Khwai Concession, a community-managed wildlife area bordering Moremi Game Reserve. The journey takes approximately 3–4 hours by road or a short scenic flight, leading you into prime safari territory.

Khwai Concession Area is a protected region located in Botswana, primarily within the northern part of the country. It is part of the broader Moremi Game Reserve situated in the Okavango Delta, one of Africa’s most spectacular and diverse ecosystems. 

Travel 2hrs 30mins to Moremi and begin our game viewing activity in the game reserve. About 5000m2 in extent and home to nearly 500 species of birds and a vast array of other species of wildlife including Cape buffalo,Angolan giraffe, lion, African elephant, hippopotamus, zebra, cheetah, hyena, jackal, impala, red lechwe, Cape wild dogs. Game viewing is at its peak from July to October, when seasonal pans dry up and the wildlife concentrates on the permanent water. From October until the start of the rains in late November or early December, the weather can be extremely hot.
